Preschool Application

2026-27 School Year

The Hoosac Valley Regional School District's Integrated Early Childhood Programs serve three and four year-old children, both with and without disabilities, who live in Adams and Cheshire communities. Our programs are aligned to the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework for Prekindergarten, as well as the Massachusetts Standards for Preschool Social and Emotional Learning and Approaches to Play and Learning. Additionally, our program offers speech and language, occupational, and physical therapy, as well as behavioral support, vision, and hearing services for students who require them. We do not have school choice slots for out-of-district children in our Preschool/PreK programs.

In accordance with state and federal regulations, children who have been found eligible for special education services can participate in our integrated program at no cost. Children who are typically developing are awarded free seats based on availability through a lottery application process.

We provide a half-day program for accepted three year-olds (students who are turning 3 on or before September 1, 2026) and full day, grant-funded, CPPI classrooms for our four year olds (students who are turning 4 on or before September 1, 2026).

For more information on the lottery application process, download this informational flyer.

The Preschool/PreK lottery application is available at the Hoosac Valley Elementary School office at 14 Commercial Street, Adams, MA. It may also be downloaded below and returned to the office. Please reach out to Jamie Smith at (413) 743-0876 with questions.
