    The 2020 census is right around the corner, and ensuring high levels of response is critical to future funding for our school.  Check out this TOOL KIT!  We NEED parents to respond to the census.  

    The 2020 Census count impacts the federal funds that communities receive each year for programs and services that are critical for schools, students, and younger children, such as:

    • Special education, Head Start, after-school programs, and classroom technology.
    • Food assistance, including free and reduced-price school lunches.
    • Maternal and child health programs.

  • PRE-K SCREENING FOR HVRSD:

    The Hoosac Valley Regional School District will be conducting  a  developmental  preschool  screening  for  all  Adams  and  Cheshire 3 and 4 year olds who have not been screened in the  past  year, on  March  22,  23 and  24,  at  the  former Cheshire  Elementary School located at 191 Church Street, Cheshire.  CLICK HERE TO SEE THE FLIER.

  • DISTRICT AND SCHOOL REPORT CARDS:

    Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. Just as your child’s report card shows how he or she is doing in different subjects, the school’s report card is designed to show families how our district and school is doing in different areas.   • OPT OUT MILITARY FORM:

    OPT OUT MILITARY FORM: According to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Section 8025, Armed forces recruiters have access to students and student recruiting information.  Each local educational agency receiving assistance under the Act shall provide, upon a request made by a military recruiter or an institution of higher education, access to the name, address, and telephone listing of each secondary school student served by the local educational agency, unless the parent of such student has submitted the prior consent request under paragraph (2). 


    Parents/Guardians and Students attached is the opt out military form that must be sent to all families per mandates.  ONLY if you choose to opt out, will you fill out the attached form.    CLICK HERE to access the form.

  • TUTORING CENTER IS OFFICIALLY OPEN:

    Our tutoring center, which is run by Mrs. Reeves and members of the National Honor Society, is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., AND from 11 a.m. to Noon on Wednesdays.  Students must sign into the Zoom meeting by using their k12.hoosacvalley.org accounts.
